Learn to dance Scottish
There are dancing groups across metropolitan Melbourne and country Victoria, so there is sure to be a class near you. At a class, you can expect to learn the basic steps and formations and a variety of dances. There are 5 basic steps and these steps are used in a variety of formations. These formations are put together in endless, different combinations to produce an infinite number of dances. You would be more than welcome at any of these classes. Just contact them beforehand and let them know you are coming.
At least once per year, the RSCDS Melbourne & District Branch holds a beginners' course. This year's course will commence at 10am on May 8th at St Faith's Anglican Church, 4 Charles St, Glen Iris. More info
