Tascal Ball Weekend

Tascal's Winter Ball Weekend is on again and this year, we are celebrating the RSCDS Centenary!  Dates: Friday 18th to Sunday 20th August 2023.

As always, Chris Duncan and Catherine Strutt are our musicians for the weekend, exciting us to dance.

The ball on Saturday evening is our gala event, but why not join us for the weekend, starting on Friday night exploring a grim but fascinating convict history with a Scottish twist at the new presentation of Unshackled/the Convict Memorial Hub at Hobart's Penitentiary Chapel or maybe revise the dances for the ball. Sunday we have our relaxing, friendly picnic day at historic Richmond Village, with the option to toast the Society at the Drink Tasmania Tasting House to sample Tasmania's crafted whiskies, gins and spirits.

It is a great weekend to connect with friends and dancers from near and far to indulge in dance, music, food and exploration.

Attached is a Weekend Information flyer giving a summary of the activities on offer and the link for bookings through Trybooking. The flyer also contains the link to the ball programme. We'd love you to share this with fellow dancers. Also attached is a flyer for the ball night.
